DID YOU KNOW?
Question and Answer
What are your qualifications as a supervisor?
With training from the Gottman Institute, Prepare/Enrich, and PREP assessments, plus experience across three states, I can provide the guidance you need to succeed. My CACREP accredited master’s and COAMFTE accredited doctorate, along with conference-speaking experiences, make me well-equipped to support you on your path to licensure. Let’s simplify the process together.
What can I expect from supervision with you?
I aim to create a friendly and knowledgeable environment while using a Systems focused approach to our conversations. I work hard to ensure that I can provide quality clinical experiences for my clients and I aim to build my supervisees up to do the same.
What is your experience in supervisor roles?
I have had the privilege of supervising masters students and postgraduates in a variety of clinical settings. Since completing the approved supervisor certification through AAMFT in 2019, I have supervised individuals working in: the Juvenile Drug Court, private practice, domestic violence counseling centers, supervised visitation, university counseling centers, and methadone clinics.
Have you held any type of leadership positions?
I have! I was given the opportunity to work as the assistant clinic director for my university’s counseling center. I was also able to work as a supervisor for an in home family therapy organization. In both of these roles, I would serve as a resource for those providing counseling and help organize and provide feedback for their work.
What is your theory of supervision?
My process of supervision utilizes Solution-Focused and Systems approach. When working with couples and families I have found it is most effective to build on the foundational Systems theories. My hope is when we begin working together that we are able to explore a wide range of theories and what would be a good fit for you.
What types of supervision do you offer?
I offer individual or group setting supervision. I also prefer in person meetings, although I understand sometimes meeting virtually is a necessity. As a supervisee, you are also given access to resources such as previous CEU’s and handouts that are developed by The Marriage Forge.
What is your supervision fee?
My supervision rates include: Individual $120, Triadic - $75 per person, Group $60 per person (3-4 supervisees) and $50 per person (5-6 supervisees)
